Our Mission

Essaray Hockey was founded with the idea in mind that hockey is supposed to be fun!
With the professionalization of youth sports at younger and younger ages, youth athletes quit sports at a higher rate than ever before
Essaray Hockey intends to provide resources and opportunities to players and families that want their child to develop and have fun while not getting caught up with needing to play somewhere by some arbitrary age in order to “make it”

Essaray Hockey Camp was created with the following principles at the forefront:
- We want this to be the best week of your child’s summer
- Your child will absolutely develop their hockey skills, but not at the cost of having fun
- We want to put your child in positions to fail — failure is the best teacher
- No pressure to impress coaches, scouts, advisors, etc.
